Defcon 2009!!!!

Ok guys...Defcon 17 is approaching and we have decided to go a few challenges this year.
#1 A few of us will be competing in the CTF quals on June 5th, to determine if we get a spot playing at Defcon.

If we don't get a spot, we are going to play in oCTF, but we also want to do the scavenger hunt.

We need someone(probably BO) to organize the Scavenger Hunt Team. Basically, while a few of us are playing CTF or oCTF, the others can be in the scavenger hunt, and we can take shifts.

BO are you up for doing that to make sure we have a team and get registered? =)

If you are attending Defcon and want to participate in either, please post here and what you want to participate in.

Also, check out www.defcon.org and if there is something else, please post here and we will see if we can get a team up.

Are F, bannedit, eth0, forsaken going absolutely?

I also have a friend coming with me and I believe lattera has a friend going with him. That means 14 of us with four pending. Anyone else I'm missing please inform and make sure you exchange your cell number or contact information with one of the ones you trust who are going so we can meet up.

On a side bar: I think everyone should at least agree on a badge logo for personal printing and putting your logon on for identification and promo. If someone is interested in coming up with something.... PLEASE do!.. Those who use the H3C logo/badge make sure you laminate it and put it with your DC17 badge.

OK, What other information should be given to those who are new to Defcon?

Please go to www.defcon.org and read the site! A lot of questions will be answered by simply doing a little homework. If you can not find the answer to a question please feel free to post your question in the forums for other people to add to and learn from. IRC communication is limited to those who just happen to be on and we often get too busy to remember every detail talked about in IRC.
