Poker, Any Players?

hey kids, been a while since i've been here, thought I would make my presence noticed.

been playing poker online for a while, getting pretty good at it, thought I might share some stuff with you.

now don't get me wrong but you saying how can Poker have anything to do with Hacking... well poker is more on locating weak areas and exploiting it, from body language to mental toughness to lying/bluffing... social engineering (a key component on any major hacking level) is a majority of this ... any basic strategy needs planning and execution .... I really wish I could sit at a table with you guys, few beers and have a game :) help keep our minds sharp. (the more wasted you are the better my chances :p that's why they try and get you drunk at casinos)

for example i suggest you read http://www.muphin.net/poker/E-Books/David.Givens-Body.Language.pdf

gimme a shout on msn (+email removed, too many people asking, how do i hack+) as i dont use irc much anymore.

- Muphin, Simon ... or some people call me little moist cake :p

P.S If you play online let me know where and maybe we could have a game :)

I play....usually at Bodog and PokerStars. I started playing at PartyPoker, but they began to suck, and I played at UltimateBet, until I found a directory traversal attack on their webserver.

s0kket, I think poker is the absolute in social engineering but online it's a bit harder because I can see the tells as easily. None the less, I think it would be great to play against you and take ALL your chips.

All your chips are belong to ME. ;)

let me know where you are and I'll give it a try.

I played a lot at PokerStars but mainly in freeroll tournaments and on play money tables. But I think that's the right way to get into it and learn the game. Additionally, you can read about poker tournament strategies or other useful resources to improve your game. It can't harm to have some theoretical background.

Never bluff with aces
